At around 9:30 last night, September 9, 2004, newest acoustic sensation MYMP [Make Your Momma Proud] won their first ever Awit Award for People's Choice for Best Song.

The Awit Awards is the Philippine equivalent of the Grammy's. It is the annual awards for excellence in recorded music and is sponsored by The Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).
